Is this the best OFFline yugioh game on steam?
Not main English and have not brought the game

I hate online/PvPs. Sure, it's nice when I play with friends, but random people, who use hacks? People who just troll by dragging time? People who quit before they lose? That, and Konami being ***** was the reason why I stopped playing yugioh for some years. Now i want to play it again.

So, is this a good game to play OFFline (against AI) ? Or do i need to play online? Like are there any game points/currency only obtained by playing online vs others; rare cards/items/others unlocked only via online play? (like the steam game achivements)

Off, wish they just did World championship 2008-+, tag duel and such ports-_-

Yes. Just keep in mind this game doesn't have the most recent cards and basically has never received any content update since launch (and most likely never will).

No. The only in-game currency can be earned by playing against AI opponents, and there's nothing exclusive to online mode (besides the achievements you mentioned). You can get all the cards using points earned against AI opponents (though it can be tedious near the end).

yes it is but online is a mess to deal with but you can easily grab the game on a sale get a 100 percent save build what you want and play against ai and friends you jsut wont have any 2022 cards mostly 2019 and under. there are people who mod the game but most i see dont and there are randoms at times. The port thou is a very buggy mess and is a copy and paste of the last lotd they didnt even bother fixing the bugs. grab it for 5 bucks on a sale and just go do whatever you want on it thats my suggestion and achivements are very easy some people help others get the online win ones as well. i am currently adding good randoms and trying to make a group for the game cuz im currently been stuck for months on here mostly non meta duelists. so if you need any info let me know and ill be happy to help. but yes konami dosent care and i feel your pain meta and pvp is just sad at times especially when you duel rage quiters. have a nice day and good luck hope you find what your looking for. btw one more thing you can mill for the cards but its not worth it its mostly campain and opening packs from winning duels so you can play the game classicly if you want.

having looked around what's been released for the series, I will handsdown say that this is the best one can hope for as far as the most up to date singleplayer experience. What is annoying is that the game has its own restricted cards list that isn't an exact banlist for anything we actually had, from my understanding. Which does make deckbuilding a pain if you're trying to use what everyone else did during said era. Ofc it only matters if you plan to play online, offline doesn't seem to really care.

But despite its shortcomings, its the best possible game out of the ones out there.

Avoid Master Duel, its not worth it.

I'll wait for sales (Konami is not worthy the extra money-.-) as I like to have steam games on steam as I can install them anywhere, including easy play PC and easily switch to Steam Deck (if game works-.-)

THANK!!! I was wondering about Master Duel. But a FREE Game from KONAMI????!!!! It was screming something is not ok.

(I will go off topic. Not main English)

Except for the achievement, I will not touch Online so it's OK. Damn, I Always hate the Ban list. WTF??? Seriously, WTF??? When you do RANKING Online tournament or whatever. You ARE forced to use X or Y ban list. So, free duel, online vs Friends. Whatever, Why? Why? can we not just use whatever the F we want?:)) Why can't we just do our own Ban list?:))) Like being allowed every last game braking card, even 3 copies=)) Can you imagine? All pieces of exodia, 3 times, + 3 pot of greed + whatever else to draw=))) Win in turn 1=))

Like the OFFline game. After you finish the whole game. Would it not be a perfect reward for the fact that you completed the whole game?:)

10.000 cards it's already way to much:| Last Yugioh games I played were the World Championship and Tag Team, so I'm actually way behind as I haven't played this game for years and years (as Konami did not make the games as good as they were.....and I already said about online).

Yeah...I will do the Online Achivement and not touch the online as I honestly Had enough. Thank you. I Really was worried about some BS like online currency or stuff behind a Paywall-.-

Game is on my wishlist now

Thanks Everyone!

You can mod 500 missing cards in using the guide here while definitely helps fill that missing card gap:

hey ive been playing vinalla for the past 3k hours for both legacys ik there are mods for this game but will it not let me play with randoms if i mod the cards in? i know with mods the other person has to have the same files for it to sync. and can you let me know if rikka/snowdrop plant cards are in the mod pack? hoenstly i dont feel modding is worth it but ive never done it. ive seen tons of mods mentioned for this game but never tried them.
