Exodia Game Crash
Game stopped crashing when I started playing in fullscreen instead of windowed. My game was crashing from a broken exodia deck I was using to farm cards quickly to make interesting decks, and the animation was causing my game to crash every 2-3 duels. I changed nothing in the settings other than make the game fullscreen and it worked 8 times in a row without crashing. I did not download any mods or change nvidia settings either. I hope this helps others that were looking for an easy fix.

I was able to fix this by going to the game files and changing something. I'm not sure I remember 100% correctly but I think I opened up YGO_2020.toc in notepad and I changed the movies\exodia.bik I just just changed the .bik to .bac This will stop the crash but when you win with exodia the game will pause for a few seconds before the win screen comes up

For those of you that wish to know, I've did exactly what they stated, no crashes at all having summoned or been summoned on by Exodia with 0 crashes so far over 20 times, previously it took around 5-8 Exodia to the enemy or against me and crashed, so this method surely works to prevent crashes via Exodia, I have yet to get any other crashes with any other scripted animations so far

Although it's a pity you can't disable animations entirely, previous game only character specific animations play when that character summons their signature cards, this game appears to allow those signature cards to animate any time no matter which character plays them, but still only specific to signature cards

Either way, thanks for the workaround on this crash fix

Nothing funnier than a legit Exodia Obliterate that actually crashes your game because it's so powerful :3

Good Luck & Have Fun :smiling:
