Not gonna lie the AI in this game be cheating... At least it feels like it.
Like they always have a counter to everything I do and this happens like 99.9% of the time with that .1% being anytime they had a derp moment and let me win. Now I am not a bad player of the game by any means but when I play the story mode I don't use decks I make because I want to beat the games with the decks the characters used in the show.

I don't know what part you are on but it gets harder if you use pre-made decks. I had to make my own and its rough.

I played originally on the old Legacy of the Duelist and got as far as GX (Do not recall who I was facing) but yeah I agree it get's harder especially if you plan to play with their official decks instead of one you made like I have.

Using the pre-made decks, I definitely do feel as though the AI cheats; the AI makes some very basic errors, yet they're always seeming to get better draws than I do; it'll take me multiple times to do the campaign levels with pre-made decks on both sides of the duel. If I switch to a good custom deck, I can generally just overpower them, but that feels like I'm cheating then as the campaign certainly isn't balanced around even semi-competitive decks (some of the challenge decks are though!).

That is exactly how I feel.
