Dark Magic inheritance Question/Possible Bug

When I try to use Dark Magic inheritance I can see all the applied cards but Dark Burning Attack. This isn't a big deal but I didn't know if it was just me or if this is just an oversight. If it is just me are there any fixes for it?

It is a bug. But there is no fix for that. Because Devs already abandoned this game.

It's not a bug though. Dark magic inheritance only works on cards that specifically mention dark magician or dark magician girl. Dark burning attack doesn't mention dark magician girl specifically. Dark burning attack mentions dark magician girl monsters, so it's referring to the dark magician girl archetype instead of the card dark magician girl.

TL;DR Dark burning attack technically doesn't mention the card dark magician girl, so it can't be searched by dark magic inheritance.

I'm a little confused but it does make sense why the game treats it that way and why it's not listed on the wiki that Satekoi provided . So correct me if I'm wrong. What you are saying is the reason why the card works when Dark Magician Girl is on the field is because she is a Dark Magician Girl, however, Dark Burning Attack also works with the other archetypes despite listing "Dark Magician Girl" in the text. Dark Magic inheritance can search for card ONLY apply to either the Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl. Here is the text just for reference.

DARK MAGIC INHERITANCE

Banish 2 Spells from your GY; add 1 Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand, that specifically lists the card "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl" in its text, except "Dark Magic Inheritance". You can only activate 1 "Dark Magic Inheritance" per turn.

DARK BURNING ATTACK

If you control a "Dark Magician Girl" monster: Destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls.

"Dark Magician Girl monster" is describing the archetype not specifically the card itself. Way too confusing honestly.

I know what you mean. Usually I'm pretty good at reading the cards, but this one tripped me up a bit.

Personally I was way better at interpreting the card text correctly before they started writing it in a "problem solving" way, lol.

I felt a similar way about math until I took a math and logic course in college. I'm good with numbers, but when you get into math word problem things get shaky for me. Ironically I understand coding language better than English sometimes. When it comes down to how the card is written I assumed because monster wasn't in quotes that it would still apply, because the card still lists "Dark Magician Girl." There is probably a better way that could've been written, but Yi-Gi-Oh cards seem to have a very particular way they're written and translated.
