Is it worth it for only the singleplayer?
I'm thinking about buying the game because I used to play yugioh alot back in the days and watched the series but is it worth it only for the singleplayer experience?

I might give the multiplayer a try but I guess my experience might be not that good because I don't wanna spend hours searching for the best deck to win in online.

Yeah, there's plenty of single player content to enjoy. I'd also recommend the uncensored artwork mod.

The game has a singleplayer campaign for every anime series from Duel Monsters up to Vrains including tutorials. By beating said campaign you also unlock challenge decks for the AI which are stronger than their campaign decks.

I've argued before, and will argue again, that it's only worth it for the single-player. My reasoning is that the unofficial simulators are better in every other way, but are mostly or entirely multiplayer.

Yeah I enjoy YGOpro a lot more than multiplayer on here. But in YGOpro unless you have friends willing to play oldschool yugioh you can't really do it there. This has plenty of options to play that way against ai.

Singleplayer is absolutely worth it.
You can play all six campaigns and after you can unlock the "hard mode" and make duel challenges.

And grinding cards and build your own decks with about 10 000 included cards is pretty much fun.

And optional there are also the "battle packs" where you can play with random cards. Its sometimes a cool challenge to play it.

PS: sorry for my bad english

And some of those mirror duels are *way* harder. Trying to beat yugi's exodia deck as Koiba is pretty darn hard ehh.
