As for enemies. The npc draws seem to be as random as yours.
Fun fact is has been proven that the AI in Forbidden Memories is in fact cheating. A youtuber used a code that let´s him see his opponents cards and every turn the AI shuffled one of it´s cards back into the deck and drew a new one instead.
I have no nostalgia towards Forbidden Memories, I literally picked up YGO as a card game a month ago and I still have more fun getting my face rekt in FM than Legacy.
Legacy's presentation is abysmal, the pacing hurts the duels with things like unskippable animations. But FM's setting is more interesting to me, probably because I'm already familiar with the original show's plot and I know what's gonna happen.
As a kid i had the exact oppisite experence. It was just too easy after brining your cards from real life into the game. Since the rules where all loopy you could do some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
