Don't over think it, you might hurt yourself.
Link evolution is pretty much copy paste from the first one...so buy this game is a mistake
Stop being delusional ffs... everyone love money obviously. You don't love money? Which company that doesn't love money?
Also he got this info cause he knows who Konami is. Its not rocket science my dude.
the vast majority of my hours in Link Evolution are offline (singleplayer) which is why I am fond of Link evolution. I do play a good amount of Dueling Nexus for multiplayer when I do have access to the web
Whales are where all the money is at, not free players.
They don't care about the average player. The top 100 people, who will spend hundreds of dollars every new set release, is where the big money is at, and that's how all competitive online card games work.
Want to draft or play a sealed deck tournament? Pay up.
Want to buy packs? Pay up.
Of course you get a bit of currency from logging in, doing your daily matches, maybe even doing some challenges/quests, but those won't provide enough to stay competitive and get all the best cards you'd need to play in tournaments.
I don't need to work at Konami to know this is the exact model they'll use.
