Acid Trap hole isn't triggering flip effects, even though it is supposed to.

Could you give us some more information?
not enough information. give a play-by-play of the game state. video proof is best.
Well, Acid trap hole doesn't seem to trigger flip effects in any game state at all. Use it on a monster with less than 2000 def it just kills it, no flip effect. Use it on a monster with more than 2000 def, it just flips it back down again, no flip effect. I tested it on most of my flip monsters in my Prediction Princess deck: Pot of the Forbidden, Arrowsylph, Petaleif, Crystaldine, none of their effects triggered. I looked it up, and they are supposed to trigger when it's used, and in the original Legacy of the Duelist they triggered when it was used. I held down the interrupt button in case I needed to, even though flip effects shouldn't need the interrupt even on pro mode, but still nothing.

Flip effects triggering are an OCG ruling, this game is based on the TCG ruleset where no such exception/rule exists.
IT may be an OCG ruling, but it is also how the card works in the TCG. and why wouldn't it? the card literally say "flip the target face up then..." anything that happens when a card is flipped face up should happen when acid trap hole is used. and like I said, in the previous Legacy of the Duelist, it worked properly.

Judge rulings change and the game is different between TCG and OCG. It's incorrect that a card activates right as a it flips up if something happens after otherwise Amaterasu would be a damn near unstoppable card when being targeted by a single-target card, but if it's removed from the field or flipped back face down/etc then the flip effect will not function.
what are you talking about? A flip monster being removed from the field has never stopped their effects from triggering in the history of yugioh, otherwise flip monsters destroyed by battle would not trigger and cards like man eater bug would be worth nothing. the only times a flip monster's effect shouldn't trigger is if it was removed from the field while still face down, or if it was "revealed."

Edit: Also, As I keep saying, the previous game in the series which was also based on the tcg, had Acid trap hole function properly.

Acid trap hole resolves first. Meaning acid trap hole either destroys or flips monster back down. Since the monster is no longer flipped face up on the field after acid trap hole resolves its flip effect can't go off.
