this is quite literally me and my friends biggest pet peeve with this game. We understand why these cards are banned for multiplayer but why cant we use them in a private match? makes zero sense.

It's possible to remove the banlist by modding the game files: https://github.com/MoonlitDeath/Link-Evolution-Editing-Guide/wiki/Creating-or-Editing-a-New-Banlist

I made a mod with an empty banlist and tested it, it works.

Join this discord, it's largely used for other yugioh modding stuff but there is a link evolution section (link-evo-modding) with a pinned post of an empty banlist file.

However, you'll still need to use the aforementioned editing guide to learn how to open the game files and insert the empty banlist file yourself, then pack it back up.

Feel free to ask in that channel for help, I hang around there relatively often.
