Fortune Lady Deck What Do You Think? Updated Version!
Hello everyone I just wanted to present a new updated version of the Fortune Lady deck I was working on and would like to get peoples opinions on it as well as share it so others can play it too. The old version didn't use all of the Fortune Ladys, so I wanted to correct that so in this version I did my best to not only incorporate all the Fortune Ladys, but also some of the Fortune Fairys as well. Another goal I had In mind was to try and incorporate fusions, xyz, synchros, and links all into one deck, since I saw it in Vrains and thought that was cool too have. The side deck I'm still not really sure on to be honest though. Please feel free to share your thoughts on it below!

sup dude, sorry on the late reply but i guess i can still offer some tips. i only played your deck about 3 or 4 times against ai so i wont say im an expert in all its ways but the main deck seems fine, though i would swap out any synchros that arent play extenders (like both beelzs, fortune visions makes him redundant) for f.a. dawn dragster/ crystal wing/ draco berserker or even psy frame omega. the borreload synchro can be ok if his effect isnt negated but you arent using links (probably because of calling limiting extra deck plays) so nvm him i guess. as long as you can end your turn with a few forms of interrupt you should be fine. you've got too many random "boss monsters" that it seems were only put there just in case you happened to be able to synchro into them at some point.

if you're willing to consider adding links at some point, and you can consistently get 1 monster and a tuner out at once (which i managed fine with your deck both times i tried it), you can link them for halqifibrax, use his effect to summon lady past, then link them both for selene. she can spread counters and extend plays if you've used more than 3 spells, then you can link her and 1 other monster away for skull dread, abomination or one of the topologic nukers. or you can keep her if you prefer. its not a an amazing link play but its fun enough when it doesnt get negated. other links might be better depending on what you're going for like crowley for spellbooks or puzzlomino for boosting fortune ladies
Thanks for replying, your suggestions are really good as I couldnt really think about what to add to the extra deck for the most part. I took a look at the cards you recommended and plan to try them out though a few I don't have are dawn dragster and crystal wing or draco berserker yet.

Here is what the extra deck looks like now:

1x - Arcanite Magician

1x - Black Rose Dragon

3x - Fortune Lady Every

1x - Heirophant of Prophecy

1x - Geomathmech Final Sigma

1x - Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons

1x - Borreload Savage Dragon

1x - PSY - Framelord Omega

1x - Crowley, the First Propheseer

1x - Crystron Halqifibrax

1x - Puzzlomino, The Drop-N-Deleter

1x - Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians

1x - Empress of Prophecy

I plan to test these out and switch links and such out and in to find a playstyle I like. Also will probably Switch out beelze when I get Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier (I dont have that yet sadly). I like it cause it goes with the banishing theme of the deck nicely. Might also side deck final sigma cause I really only keep him around for skill drain counter lol.

I also added another fortune lady calling to the main deck cause why not.
no probs man, glad it helped. trishula is cool, but a bit outdated these days, hes still really good but hes a pain to make and most stuff these days is negates, if you frequently find yourself in a position to synchro level 9's with 3 cards then go for it if you want him but know that 2 monsters and a tuner can get you way more potential than just trish these days. if fortune ladies spammed better or had better recovery options then trish would be a great follow up play

if you have the option, brax is usually a solid option. one thing that makes halqifibrax great is he can bring out a synchro tuner on your opponent turn. bring out something like formula / quandax / accel or wonder magician depending on what levels you have on field and then synchro climb into dragster / void ogre or borreload, then just start negating. again not perfect plays but just trying to give ideas about how diverse and wild synchro plays can be when used in tandem with links. synchro is all about knowing the combos and then recognising the pieces that will get you there. its like how a maze is easier when you do it backwards.

sigma is another thing you're not usually gonna be able to get out when its convenient, if you're dealing with skill drain, rushing out a level 12 synchro who, even though hes uneffected, doesnt really have much of an effect to negate anyway, he doesnt solve the problem of getting rid of skill drain. dragster / borreload / void ogre can all negate stuff like that which is why they tend to be rushed out asap for defense. you always want to end your turn with some stuff that can interrupt your opponent on their turn or stuff that can make stuff to interrupt during their turn, that way when your next turn rolls round you have less to deal with and hopefully more on the board to use.

i should add at the end here that this game has many different metas about whats removal/ negate is best and when, so you cant really go wrong if you're just playing against ai since they use much older decks, just thought i'd give you more recent info when listing stuff here. good luck with the build however you choose to build and play it in the end!

Slightly unrelated, but have you been able to trigger the effect for Fortune Lady Wind? For Some reason I can't activate it when she is normal summoned

the wording in winds effect is super dumb mate, basically if theres fewer spells on the field than fotune ladies, then you cant use her effect since it says "equal to" but doesnt include "up to". super dumb but thats just how it is.

Oh, I didn't know that, thank you for the response!

Yeah I had that problem as well and it confused me for a while, it's just as the other guy said though. A couple other things I noticed was you can't "Extra Foolish Burial" "Fortune Lady Every" and then use her affect to bring her back on the opponents turn. She must be synchro summoned first. Another thing I noticed was that "Fortune Lady Rewind"s affect of shuffling your Fortune Lady's that were brought back from the banish pile into the deck at the end of the turn doesn't activate "Fortune Lady Light"s affect either.

Updated the deck and wanted to share it, please feel free to give your thoughts and opinions on it! I hope others can also have fun playing it to!

Personally I would trade one of the FL Earth for another Dark. Earth never seems to do much for me (But I know you wanted to use them all, so that's preference). Do you find yourself at risk to Deck Out due to the Card Destruction, even without it I find the draw power to be so risky in longer duels.

One card I would recommend for an alternate win condition is Magicalized Fusion along with Quintet Magician. It Banishes 5 Spellcasters from the Field/ GY to summon a monster with 4500 Attack. If you used 5 different spellcasters, it destroys every card on your opponent's field. Considering how quickly FL can fill the graveyard, it's powerful

I don't normally find myself at risk at decking out with it but I only had it due the scenario where I drew a brick hand. After your suggestion though I switched it out for Extra foolish burial so I can powerhouse Borrelload Savage Dragon faster. I also switched out a copy of Spellbook of Secrets for Magicallized Fusion. I really do like Quintet Magician, It's super easy to summon in this deck and allows me to side deck the other fusions; The Dark Magicians, and Invoked Mechaba along with Muddy Mudragon so I can replace them with I:P Masquerena, Five-Headed Link Dragon, and Quintet Magician. Five-Headed Link dragon also is like Quintet Magician for me as it is easy to summon as well, though not as easy as Quintet is and Five-Headed's destroy all opponents card's effect is a little harder to pull off as well but is still certainly doable since Fortune Ladys are also attribute based. Also since Five-Headed is the new version of and old classic card I liked it only makes it more a reason to put it in. I:P I added so I can link one time and then continue my plays like normal and get a bunch of monsters on the field and so I can use Fortune Lady Calling which normally restricts you to Synchro summoning after, after that I should be able to just Link into whatever I want during the opponents turn due to I:P's affect. Thank you for the suggestion I think that really boosted the power of this deck, plus I can avoid the convoluted fusion method I used before and was able to make more extra deck room spots. :chocola2:
