I decided to get Arc V out of the way first, and I'm still on the first duel because the AI has gotten Timegazer Magician and Stargazer Magician on Turn 1!!! Summons 3 monsters with 2200 Atk and I'm screwed lol.
10/10 Will play again :D
dumb Luck != playing dumb
well story decks are not always awesome (especially if they are not supposed to play well on MR4, which with the 2020 revision now primarily affects pendulum monsters but still they aint always good), on original LotD I went with a Dinomist deck from DLC as I wanted to play all the scenarios and therefore got the DLC (on sale, I am not an idiot)
when I got this on switch I started collecting Dinomists as well, iirc in the back of the Akaba guy, no idea about his EN name, I had to add some Link Mons as pendulums are seriously crippled even in the new revision of the Rules that happened when the Steam ver launched, but especially now in the updated liunk Evolutions I noticed something that can hard counter some decks especially for example Revolver's Deck, Dimomist Ankylos lets all cards destroyed by Dinomists in battle bypass the Graveyard and get banished instead so graveyard effects are dead.
currently as these cards have appeared in the new revision I am building Valkyrie and this deck is totally fun for me (all valkyrie related cards are in the Blue Angel card pack so you need to advance in vrains a bit to get those)
I really miss my Kozmo and Aromage decks from LotD, Kozmo was totally broken but fun, and Aromage was awesome at snowballing :D
I'll probably buy this game on Switch too, it's too hard to pass up a portable YGO game
sadly not as awesome as the World Championship series which had tag duels, a more distinct story instead of just playing more or less random bigger duels from the anime series.
btw for getting your fav decks back, check a website called "the card hub" it lets you search for what you need and find how to get, may make it easier for you than playing decks you never played.
