Story duels need minimal deck scripting

I'm tired of seeing "Use this card to win the duel" in story mode hints when you try the chapter 10 times and still havent seen the damned card because you cant draw it or have no way to search it from deck.

This is especially frustrating when the chapter revolves around one card.
Getting real tired of Dipper O'rions smug face.

scripting defeats the purpose of playing real Yugioh... Use a user deck if you want to cheat the system, otherwise experience the alternate realities where the main character failed.

I think I'm already experiencing that alternate reality of the MC losing because I'm not pulling the famous card needed. And I'm just talking about story duels, because, oddly enough, a story is a script.

If I lose because I played my card wrong, well that's just on me. If I lose because the duel is ridiculous and I can only win with one card because the story said so, well frick me until I'm lucky enough in my 27th attempt at that chapter to pull the card i need

i know you're talking about the story duel, part of the fun is coming out of a near impossible duel, top decking the exact card you need and winning...

Again, if you want to cheat it, play User decks, this game is 100% ruthless/merciless pure real Yu-Gi-Oh in and out. The decks are crafted to be just like the anime, and some duels you will need to use user deck unless you want to be at the mercy of RNG, I'd suggest making a time thief deck now so you can counter any story deck that comes your way, as that deck has options to deal with everything the story can throw at you from either side.


Just learn to surrender when no moves are available, will save you lots of time.

And i thought they where scripted because i got burning land in my starting hand in my 2 attermpts against Panic and 2 hearts of the underdog in my duel against Kaiba
