if you like to collect full sets just look at the 3x dupe number til u max it out.
if you don't really play, then do the discovery! you won't know what the other cards are anyways, so get packs as you play, find a card you like, max out that pack to get the support for it.
very intuitive system and you don't even need a guide if you use a little thought to connect the dots, the problem is you're not a longtime player... Just keep playing and it will come naturally, so by the time the next game comes you know what to look for.
Having it in-game ruins the discovery aspect. Go play Duel Links if you want that... When you play Real Yu-Gi-Oh, you don't know what's in a booster pack til you buy it either, and then it follows same structure, see one archetype card, usually multiples, and the supports and stuff usually make sense for that pack based on cover art and other aspects.
