Exodia Effect crashes game

Somebody else has this? Happend already 3 times. Some more info:
-Game runs the german Version
-Game is on fullscreen 1920*1080 resoltution.
-Verified game files two times already, everything is ok

This really sucks i hope they fix this im pretty sure that konami ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up again.

try english since you seem to be able to type english fine, see if it still crashes on eng language, if not then send a report to konami with steps to reproduce for german language

also what about other summoning animations like Decode Talker, Dark Magician, Borreload Dragon, ETC? do you meet specs for the game?

Having the same problems, running on English. Crashed 3 times today. Specs are fine, haven't crashed on any other animations yet.

I could play Exodia without any crash. German version, 1920x1080
If your game faces any issues, you should always post your specs, then we may be able to find a solution. I have:

i7 4770 (4C/8T @3,9GHz)
16GB DDR3 1600
GTX 1070 8GB (Driver 441.34)
Game is installed on second HDD with 7200 rpm

sounds like you may be running the game on an integrated GPU or something instead of your discrete GPU which would 100% cause crashes. remember to set this game to use your discrete GPU.

Still crashes on the english version of the game. Other summon animation seem to work fine :/

At least i can confirme that its not just my game that has is. Im going to install the game on a different pc and post here again if it works or not works.

I haven't crashed once and I use hardware that's hardly developed for...

I had it crash the first time it happened but the next three times it was fine.

Guys i think i solved my issue. After it was running on my old pc i simply reinstalled it on my main pc and now it seems to work. Steam saves your game on there servers so you dont lose any progress. I also updated my gpu drivers but i dont think this changed something. I also dont really think that its hardware dependent.
Good luck to anyone else that experiences this bug!

it is hardware dependent... you just proved it. Post your specs so people with similar issues can figure out if their specs are similar to yours.

Ive been dealing with crashes a lot, my specs are Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 2666mhz and GTX 1660 Ti

That is inresting, it shouldn't crash just out of the blue, but you didn't mention your GPU driver version. Do other 3D games work flawlessly? If no, you should check if the GPU has all PCIe power cables plugged in. Also check if your BIOS is up to date, Ryzen is still very new, and there are a lot of patches released.

And a small tip from someone watching a lot of Techtubers and building computers himself. 2666MHz RAM and Ryzen are not a great idea, Ryzen performs best with fast RAM. If you get a 3200MHz kit for cheap you should upgrade.

a lot of japanese games have problems with Ryzen CPUs, though I guess the developer of this game is American; could still just not be optimized for Ryzen CPUs nonetheless.

Having the same problems, its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying.
Crashed like 10 times today. Haven't crashed on any other animations yet. Every like second Exodia animation causes a crash to the desktop.

Hey, happened to me too every time vs Yami Yugi in the first reverse battle "Heart of cards". Later, I used the Yami Yugi Exodia deck, and getting Exodia crashed the game yet again. However, when I changed the avatar from Yami Yugi to Rex Goodwin, the crashes stopped. Could you try without Yami Yugi avatar, I'm suspecting you have it up.

ummm... avatar, crashing? i've never had a problem vs or with Yugi using exodia to win and crash, honestly think this is an AMD GPU/CPU issue.
