Hey, would like to ask 3 question
1) If I finish world 1 and later go to world 2, can I still go back to World 1 or its a combine of both 1&2?

2) Which research table upgrades the normal destructive bullets? Cant find the upgrade for it. ( Yes I know you have to scan 1 enemy that is the gunslinger and I already did but still cant find it )

3) For the upgrades, whats the difference between fire bullet 1 and fire bullet 2? It shows some sword 1 -> 2, and then fire bullet 2 is 6 which I dont understand.

Thanks

  1. It's a combine of both. You are rebuilding the place and the map will get bigger.
  2. None. They are Baseline bullets. You just get higher tiers as you get to a new area.
  3. Bullet Tiers are based on current area. Tier 1 are ideal for the first area, tier 2 in the 2nd area, etc. You will find that higher tier bullets need different materials, often found in the area you are going to next. If you don't advance in tiers, your damage will drop off as you do 20% less damage for each level the bullet is lacking vs what it is hitting. So, you don't need Fire Bullet II in the first area, but you will need it in the next area.

2) Those baseline bullets, do I have to upgrade them or they upgrade naturally?
3) Ah okay but there is an upgrade for tier 1 and then tier 2? If im in world 2, do I have to upgrade tier 1 as well or just start tier 2?

Each tier of bullets also have levels, that's what you actually upgrade.
For example, tier I bullets range from level 1 to level 5, and tier II bullets range from level 6 to level 10. A fully upgraded tier I bullet will be less powerful than a freshly unlocked tier II, because tier I fully upgraded is level 5, and newly unlocked tier II starts at level 6 and can go up to level 10 via upgrading. Then tier III starts at level 11 and can be upgraded up to 15 and finally, tier IV goes from 16 to 20 (the maximum level for now). So once you have unlocked a higher tier, there's no need to upgrade lower tiers, unless you're a perfectionist or lack the resources.

No upgrades for Destruction bullets. They just show up after checking out the local "Cult of (metal)" gunslinger. If you are behind on research and have nothing else that works in a new area, they are a fantastic fill in bullet to help keep things going.

And as That Man put it, you can totally skip those levels and dive right into the next tier.

@MerchWarden hey small question, how does grouding oil powder works, aside from just applying the oil. If I start shooting fire bullets, I notice it stacks up oil + fire icon DoT & timer. Does that DoT Icon include it as grouding oil powder or must it be in its raw form, i.e you apply the oil bullet?

Thanks

Grounding Oil is supposed to make critical hits be 100% with Shock bullets while a target is covered in oil, but also stops all secondary arcing hits.

It shows the damage in a crit format, but does not actually increase damage. This is a bug. The upcoming patch I think should fix that.
