What are monster drops used for?

I'm already up to 2nd boss, and I haven't figured out what all the monster drops are used for, by that I mean stuff like small brain, eyes, horns

Eyes are materials for poisons, except jinx, that one is safe to melt into goop. Brain are for crowd control ammo. Horn is for enemy seeking powder iirc.

Ahhhhhh, since I been sticking mostly to lighting+fire bullets, I never saw recipes that needed those parts, thanks
