Cognitive awakening bug?

I've got my kansen to lvl 100, s ranked everything in story mode and am working at about match 80 in extreme battle. chips are researched and in the inventory but no prompt to awaken them can be seen anywhere (and I've looked EVERYWHERE) is this a bug or are there conditions I've not met?

the awakening should be on there status screen (Dock) above there EXP-bar, when it is not there, you might have missed an optional battle somewhere
