That time again! Proper resolutions above 1920x1080? Or Upscaled?
It's about that time again folks.

Does this game support proper internally rendered resolutions above 1920x1080, or is it blurry upscaled nonsense like all their past games?

Hoping for a proper 2560x1440 confirmation before I purchase. Otherwise will wait for a steep discount. I really do not care about Neptune.

Yay another game cutting off the left and right sides of my screen~

on 21:9 and it shoves the game to the left, leaving a giant black area on the right side. kinda lame.

Seems to be running at 4k okay for me after editing the GameUserSettings.ini and also making sure the desktop scaling is disabled for the game. The internal res seems to match.

However, there is something causing a blurry appearance to the characters. I'm not sure if it is some postprocess effect like bloom or something else. There is also apparently some form of AA that you can't disable.

Overall, it looks alright but not as crystal clear as I prefer games to be in 4k. Reminds me of other IF titles with their unconfigurable post process.

Got the 21:9 working. We shouldn't have to do this.. Still shoves non battle screens to the left but least its full screen in game play.. https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Azur_Lane:_Crosswave

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Azurlane\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

Where local appdata is something like C:\users\username\AppData\local

AppData is a hidden directory so make sure you have those on.

You can also refer to https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Azur_Lane:_Crosswave#Custom_Resolutions

I will post a couple of screenshots to show the blur I mentioned shortly.

Could be some combination of motion blur, antialiasing, bloom or even depth of field. I hope they can be persuaded to let us tweak these or someone can find a way to do it.

Yeah, that's UE4's TAA. Does a great job at handling multiple forms of aliasing, and is pretty cheap, but it softens the image a decent bit.

So many games use black-borders as a way to partially support different aspect ratios and avoid image stretching or image misalignement. It's incredibly lazy that this game doesn't have something so very basic for a PC game.

I used full screen or borderless mode, it can display 2560X1440 in my 2K monitor.
Windowed mode only can display the top of 1980X1080.

Can you confirm if it has 4K resolution in the game's options ?
