Multiplayer?

Whats has happened to the multiplayer? I can even select it anymore? Just skips straight past?

I think it was powered by Gamespy who have shut all their servers down for hundreds of games.

Yes it was Gamespy! ... Forgot about that.

Bummer! ..... Would have been good to have it moved too Steamworks like some of the other Gamespy games have.

problem is, TOCA is not on steram anymore, codemasters probably lost many licenses so they cant sell it

I just played it again for a bit & totally forgot how great it was back in the day.
Sadly my game save of when i played this game was lost to a HDD failure but i am happy to redo it all over again.
Damn, this game still looks crisp for an olddie.

tried to play this split screen the other day, but 2 controllers dotn allow the game to boot up> i pull one controller out , leave 1 in. It works. Wierd.

sad about the contoller #2 but i consider this game as much fun as the newer grid games.
Wonder if they will bring back the toca name in the future.

I still play this game, try Gameranger, a great alternative is Race 07 and all expansions.
