With the release of the LnLT Digital Battle Generator and Scenario Editor players have started creating new scenarios. These scenarios are available from the Workshop tab at the top of this page. Please do the following steps.
1) Select the Workshop Tab.
2) then select Browse and then Items.
This will list all available user-created scenarios. By highlighting and selecting a scenario author's name you may list all the scenarios designed by that author. You may also select and follow that author and future scenario designs that are made.
3) Select a scenario name and click on that interests you.
4) You will now be shown the scenario description and comments posted about the scenario from the author and players.
5) To be able to download and play the scenario select the + Subscribe button.
Something to note, once you select a scenario on the right side of the scenario will show you the required DLC's you need to own in order to play that scenario. Example Guadalcanal Day 1 scenario by scottanderson42167. You will notice that the required DLC's are the Heroes of Pacific Battlepack 1, For the Emperor DLC, and the Battle Generator & Editor.
6) Now start your LnLT Digital Core Game and once the game.
7) Now select New Game and then the DLC you.
You will now see three tabs NEW SCENARIO, CUSTOM, LOAD SAVED. Click on the custom tab and you will now see all the user-made scenarios you have subscribed to.
8) Your men are waiting for you.
Operation Sea Lion is in title - So British vs Germans September 1940
Essential Falschirmjager have seized crossings over the Royal Military canal and need to hold them until relieved. The British need to take them back to avoid a potential breakout.
Both sides get additional forces as time goes by
We like to know how is everyone is enjoying the Workshop and scenarios. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve it or changes we could do?
Works fine on my Macbook and PC.
One minor issue: the link to the Workshop home page always shows empty when I open it; I have to manually click on the Browse->Items dropdown to populate it. If it helps, it appears that the code that generates the <div class="left_column"> ... </div> for the home page may have an issue (I see a quick flash in that area when the page opens and then it clears).
I am still learning the ins and outs of the scenario editor.
I am having trouble getting a victory hex to show up in a scenario I am writing. I am using the "S" maps (snow on the ground) from "Battles to the Rhine" and that MIGHT be my issue. In the very initial screen for scenario editor, you can adjust THREE drop downs.
1. Source of maps.
2. Source of units for side 1.
3. Source of units for side 2.
I want to make ASL conversions. Trying to make BERTSEVO...an old ASL scenario for late 1941 outside Moscow. Snow on the ground is essential.
Is Battles to the Rhine the ONLY title with snow maps so far?
Thank you for any help or tips. If this is the WRONG thread for questions, please guide me to where I can ask questions. Thanks guys. We gotta stick together and make the game the best we can.
AWESOME DEVS + AWESOME FANS = AWESOME GAME AND NEW SCENARIOS
