Deluxe pricing is a little steep for two DLC packs, a cosmetic founder reward and a possible increase to your outpost size. What is the outpost thing, again? Your starting area + where you can build, or something? 1km x 1km isn't particularly big, but I hope you include ways to increase it through gameplay unlocks and not just through the deluxe edition. Maybe a simple and minor early game boost you get unlocked right away but could have simply unlocked quickly enough in regular gameplay?
I hope it's just an increase to base footprint size, and not a whole new (potentially very useful or important) map to play on or build in, at least. Or that you can unlock it through normal progression anyway and the Deluxe just gives you instant access instead.
The environment suit bonus I can overlook, assuming the water slot is something that you can eventually and easily get within normal gameplay, right? Like those pre-order pack bonuses you get in other games where you get what amounts to a level 2 set of equipment to immediately replace your starter level 1 gear, which is quickly obsoleted once you find level 3 equipment, etc. Is it like that? I hope so.
Can't comfortably drop an additional £50 on a games promise for two DLC packs, even though the base game is £20 (give or take) meaning that the future DLC is ambitiously priced, possibly adding two packs that provide +100% to the gameplay and mechanics when they drop? What's the plan with the additional content coming with the deluxe edition, any information on that yet?
Anyway, thanks for the update on pricing! Deluxe is a little too steep for me, don't wanna jump in feet first, but I'm definitely interested in the base game. I hope the gameplay there warrants potentially £50 worth of future expansions right off the bat
yeah no thanks...
Do you think your Ubisoft?
