Simply put, this is the first definitive step toward making Icarus a PvP game, not a Survival game. Let the base raids and wars turn into the ruination of what was a good game. Prior to this, there was absolutely no NEED to defend ANY base I have made on ANY map for ANY reason. There is a good reason why our group has no need for public servers and the obvious turn toward acidic community filled with griefing, raids, and general childish stupidity. I guess we'll be playing less of Icarus from today forward.

I stopped using the turrets 30 mins after setting them up. They've done more damage to my base in that 30 mins than the wildlife has my entire play time.

Yeah def don't need a battle royale but this games combat is so boring and lacking. Every enemy you just run at and strafe when they're attacking, rinse and repeat the matador/bull strategy.

Which will put the final nail in its coffin... Sure, lets do it. The game is half dead already, why not make it PvP focused, create hate and general dissatisfaction and make people quit it completely, which happens pretty much with every PvE game after PvP addition.

Doubt it, even though they'll never make this a pvp. If they did people would still have to choose this mode over the standard modes. Wouldn't make a difference, but i'm still in tears over the pvp battle royale comment..

Sure, it's cool for them to be partially underground so they blend in and all, but I'd much rather get the full rock of resources and not have to go searching far more caves.

No offense intended but, if you are going to introduce the two options on a poll anyway and within a week of each other, what is the point of having the poll?

Tought the Turrents was only shooting in real sight (When Enemys below them, they are forced to shoot the floor til they can shoot the Animals wtf o.O) They are shooting through Structures too. So this should be fixed. And... fix that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Stability of the Game finaly). No Matter what Kind of Setting I tried on my extreme PC.. it is randomly crashing in open World. So don't make new Things fix that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Code of this Game so it would never crash on modern Hardware. Thats really sad, cause I love the Games Idea much. But I am tired of Game Crashing without any Reasons. Most Crashes are on Starting or Leaving Missions. Some Crashes are really random at Running, Mining or Canceling Productions.

Devs are very inexperienced at game development. I'm sure they watched 1 or 2 tutorial videos on how to "aim my turret at enemy" and within 15 minutes decided to poll the community for it to be added, as if they ever had a choice.

"If you don't like it don't play it" is what some will say, I'm sure, and to that I say: Move to Russia if you don't like free speech. :)

Icarus has great parts to it and some parts are so bad that I understand why some may want a refund. But it's the great parts that makes some of us "haters" come here to speak our minds. We love those "great" parts, and we see the potential this game has to offer. I'm sorry to say that "base defense of harmless animals" is not it.

Let's gooo, Tower Defense incoming.

Now if there were only the occasional new mission to play in which to use the content. The last DLC was super light on missions for the price, assumed some would be added along the way.
