Icarus Update Week Seventeen | In-Game Timer
Drop time is now based on in-game time. Plus customizable difficulty, a new mission, new meta items and bugfixes.

it would be beater to have an option in the settings if you want the real wold timer or in game timer

I hope you stay your vision and dont make it a "Pony Farm" Game, because some players hold the mouse upside down.

Thanks for the great game and the weekly updates.
What does player respown count mean? For missions on hard? That you only have 3 respowns and then the mission is over or the character is lost?

The mission timer change has just bumped this game from "good, but frustrating" to "one of my favorites." Thank you for listening to the community on this. I am so happy right now, that I might actually smile at work (while I wait for the real life mission timer to tick down until I can play WITHOUT one!! <3
what happens if a teamate runs down the timer without the other in ?

The in-game timer change will put this game to the top of my wish list.
My favorite update so far. My friends and I will no longer suffer having to worry when we'll be able to log into the game in order to "save" our characters :steamhappy:

Slowly turning Icarus into a typical, easy, boring survival game. Unlike one of the earlier comments, I will be changing my review to a negative review. I didn't buy this game during the beta because it copied the style of all the other survival games. If you can't handle a real-time timer, then maybe Icarus wasn't for you. Go play one of the other survival games that are easier.
If you were running low on time, you could always launch back out early to keep your character, and just not get the rewards that round. It takes logging in for less than a minute, and I've had to do it before.

A timer for time played instead of time since level started makes the game that much worse to you? To me it's a chance to have a life and still be able to do gaming, real life will always be my first priority with family, friends work and stuff. It feels a lot different to me to give a level up because I used to much time in game or giving it up because family needed me and I couldn't play.
omg thank you for changing the timers!! i think the fact that they are real world timers just added this sense of limits. and i like the idea that "if you dont make it back in time you die" i.e. loose your character. but it also just made me not ever want to take my time doing anything because if im on a mission and "oh crap my son irl gets sick and i cant play tomorrow. and not oh crap i lost dozens of hours of progress because i couldnt log back in" just really sucks. but in game timers is perfect. i think thats a good balance.
so glad to see you guys are willing to look at community feedback and make adjustments!

so we can build and survive like prospects
This totally breaks the spirit of the game IMO. Why oh why do you change the timer like this when you FINALLY gave us mission options. Why not Add timer multipliers here. Need more time, fine more RL time added but at a reduced reward. Want to do it in less time, reduced the RL timer but get more reward?????

Not to mention there isn't a mission that can't be done in a day or so....

EPIC FAIL.
When will the fishing option come out?
The game is slowly but surely taking shape :) Keep up the good work devs !
