Icarus
Snow wolves not eating.
In coop I found that regretably, snow wolves can't be tamed for some reason if you're not the host. Normal wolves can be tamed just fine, but snow wolves simply won't eat no matter how many carcasses are around it.

I hate to be that guy, but to the developpers (I know at least someone reads the Steam forums), gameplay related to pets needs a fix ASAP between taming working sometimes and pets outright disapearing instead of teleporting if the player moves too fast (most notably when riding a Moa). It's frustrating to invest into a skill tree only to find out it's bugged to the point where it's unplayable, when the only way to respec is to spend a riidiculous amount of Rens. And don't get me started on the fact that you're selling an actual DLC for that gameplay.

well. After few tries I was able to tame one. Some trip might still hanging the bait which makes the snowwolf dont eat. Remove the bait and it should work fine.

I have read that some prospectors put out "multiple" traps...
That^ may be part of the problem...
Try taming one at a time...

"Multiple" traps, in close proximity, may cause problems...
What if the "wolves" want "food" from another trap location...?
It can't get it...

Leashed^ to the post...

Well, there is a possibility to feed an animal not with corpses, but with "baiting" food put in same trap. But yep, animal are bugged, their AI needs improvements...And sometimes they just diappear from game, at least when you're not a host
