Some things you can try;
Head to your profile file here:
C:\Users\[WindowsUserName]\AppData\Local\Icarus\Saved\PlayerData\[SteamID#]\Profile.json
Some players have reported that having those folders hidden caused issues but that really shouldn't be the case. Right click on the profile.json to bring up the properties and make sure the file does not have "Read Only" checked.
Go to your Steam folder here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\
Right click the properties of the Steam.exe and click the Compatibility tab. Make sure none of the options are turned on here, especially the run as administrator.
Go to your Icarus Steam folder deeper in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Icarus\
Right click the properties of the Icarus.exe and do the same check making sure none of the compatibility options are on.
Head a little deeper in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Icarus\Icarus\Binaries\Win64\
Right click the properties of the Icarus-Win64-Shipping.exe and do the same check making sure none of the compatibility options are on.
If you had to make changes on anything do a Windows restart. Not a shut down followed by a reboot that's different just a restart.
I'm not 100% sure which - if any - step will fix things for you. Please let us know the results.
