Virus IDP.Generic

Today I tried to start the game and it turns out that the antivirus skipped me, telling me that there is an "IDP.Generic" by Icarus. I don't know if more people are experiencing this problem but it seemed very strange to me, now I can't start the game since to do so I must eliminate the quarantine that I put in place to stop the "IDP.Generic" virus. An IDP Generic is basically what What it tells us is that we are dealing with generic malware, which in many cases is usually a Trojan. IDP indicates that it is a threat that can steal our identity. Malicious software created with the aim of collecting data, passwords and, ultimately, putting our privacy at risk
Has it happened to anyone else? I want to report this problem since it is not appropriate to encounter this type of virus on this Steam platform

It's a false positive. Window Defender isn't triggering on it plus it's coming from a service you presumably trust - Steam - and Icarus is a product you paid for so you're fine. Anti-virus has been triggering on Icarus for the last couple weeks for some reason. You can cancel the quarantine, do a file verification to make sure the anti-virus put the file back correctly, and get on with your gaming.

If you're tech savvy I'd suggest doing a little digging to see if you actually need that anti-virus program you have slowing your PC down. Keep in mind anti-virus software only catches the common stuff programmed into it that's known about - there's no way Steam or the Icarus guys would shoot themselves in the foot by sending out something that has known/identifiable malware in it. They're running all the same checks your anti-virus software is - in fact they probably have the same or similar anti-virus except the enterprise versions.
