I can only connect to a dedicated server once. then it vanishes.

If I use a VPN. I can connect to it a second time. then it will vanish again even if I reroute the VPN though another location. after that, I have to wait for the owner of the server to reboot it to see it again. Rebooting my computer, router and modem gained me one additional connection then it didn't make a difference either. This problem occurs only with Icarus.

I am desperately searching for a way to delete Steam's memory of game servers because I believe this might be a workaround. Deleting the download history does not do this. Can anyone help? Pretty please with sugar on top? And whipped cream, and sprinkles, and a cherry!

They think my problem is fascinating but don't have a clue. I sure wish there was a way to make Steam think it had never tried to connect to any kind of game at all, ever.
