Report a translation problem
I discovered troubleshooting steps posted by another Discord member, Sara, in the #how-to-icarus channel on the Icarus Discord. Following her instructions, I was able recover my old character and find the Supporters Edition benefits restored to my in-game profile.

She provided detailed instructions to download the last build of Icarus that allowed data migration. What follows is an overview of my experience with her troubleshooting procedure.
No errors appeared during and I then launched the fully-updated game via Steam as usual.
I have no idea how the troubleshooting procedure would affect an ongoing OpenWorld save, but if Sara's procedure does not work for you, you may wish to hit-up the #tech-support channel on the Discord or send an email to support@rocketwerkz.com.

500+ hours of progress gone. Because they cannot implement files migration from their servers to players' computers... I guess it's time to change my review to negative...
