Icarus not launching
I've tried to verify the game files. I even tried to run the Icarus.exe, but nothing happens!

Yeah. takes me almost 10m to launch the game. I didn't used to have this issue

I waited and sure enough after about 10 min the game launched, but it also took 10 more minutes to load the damn game! :hurtinsane:

I've uninstalled it, run a cleaning utility, and reinstalled it 4 times. I was about to reformat my HD until I saw these posts. It finally did launch though.

Yes that worked! How did you find out that this was the issue?

After trying pretty much everything else I could do, I started deleting sections of the game's files, verifying game cache, then letting Steam fetch the latest versions of them.

Nothing in the Icarus\Icarus\ directory made any difference, so I started with Icarus\Engine\ and noticed the OpenXR folder under the ThirdParty binaries - figured it was unnecessary since the game doesn't have VR, deleted it, and magically the game worked :p

I just updated my chipset drivers for the first time in a long time and now the game launches immediately for me
