Keys "Unbound" Pic included

This has happened to me more than once. It happens with everything, but specifically it makes it near impossible to play. I'm not sure I can describe it right. When trying to select a different variation of a piece, like say a window section for a wall, the build wheel glitches out. I am unable to pick any of the other options. In the bottom right of the screen it says all the keys are unbound, which isn't true. I've checked settings, and EVERY KEY is unbound, but not quite. Even though it says everything is unbound, I can still move around and interact normally, though in the bottom right of the screen it does indeed say the keys are unbound. So I've just been going with it for the most part, except it makes building near impossible. If I can't select different variants of a piece I can't even do simple stuff like had a doorway, or the ever important roof!

I have tried going back to menu, restarting game, restarting Steam, restarting computer, checking the install, AND a clean install TWICE. None worked. I am no doing a clean install for the second time.

I've also deleted the Icarus folder in the appdata/local section.
All of my keys are still unbound and refuse to rebind even after all of this. I'm stumped. It seems like the issue should be on my end of the game, but I'm wondering if it somehow has to do with the connection to the account server? I really have no idea. Everything is updated, and other games are working.

I removed all inputs that weren't the keyboard and mouse, and the issue has resolved. Controls are working and bound again.

The issue was caused by mixed signals, most likely a controller I had plugged in.
I submit this big to you, as well as the work around. I hope this helps you in your bug hunts.

I read somewhere else that this was the result of a controller being plugged in. I had indeed just plugged in a controller while playing a previous game. That was the issue. I unplugged it, and the issue was resolved.
