The Tunneling Drill is not working

I hooked it up to solar power and it says it has power. when I get down to the drill it says no connection. What do I do??

The solar panel needs to see the sun to work, so you might have to wait for a certain time of day for the shadows of the mountains to move away.

Also, with the wire in your hand you can right click to delete parts of the wire. If you've picked up the drill, you'll need to rewire it up, even if it looks like the wire is going there.

I have no idea it says I have power and I make sure everything is connected yet the drill has 0 power. possible glitch?
Update: made sure everything was connected still no luck and the solar light is green

I know this is such a long time after your post, but I was having the same issue, you have to connect the cable from the drill, to the cable to the solar panel. I took it down and put it back up and it worked then.
