Does anyone perhaps have a fix for this error:

Network failure, Lost connection to host - 028
Network failure, lost connection to host (P2P session error)

My issue is resolved. As per another thread in General, it was caused by having multiple IP's configured on my network card.

I have multiple IP's configured on my NIC to connect to some home automation gear on a different network. Removed the one, and now it works perfecly.

Original problem description:

When I try to connect to a friend's prospect I looks like it connects, but then after a while I get the error above. When I go back to character select it shows I'm in the prospect, but connecting gives the same error.

I've tried:
- Leaving prospect and rejoining
- Deleting and recreating my character
- Creating my own prospect allows me to play by myself, but then my friend get this error when he tries to connect.

Could it be firewall related? I couldn't find a list of ports that need to opened documented anywhere.

yeah a friend made a post about the same issue we are having troubles too it's honestly game breaking most people want to play Multiplayer with friends to play not for a single player game I can see a lot of people ending up refunding it if they dont do something to fix it

Confirmed. Had same issue, tried reinstall, firewall, validating install... All because of multiple ip's.

I guess there's different ways, but here's one way for Windows 10:

1. Control Panel
2. Network and Internet
3. Network and Sharing Centre
4. Change adapter settings (menu list on left)
5. Right-click on your active network card (typically named Ethernet), choose Properties
6. Scroll down the list of services/protocols and select 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
7. Click Properties button to open new window (Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties)
8. Click Advanced button to open new window (Advanced TCP/IP Settings)
9. Check the IP Settings Tab and the IP addresses section. This should only have one entry (typically "DHCP Enabled").

If there is more than one entry you have multiple IP's configured on this network card.

Usually you wouldn't have more than one configured unless you're doing something special or have some non-standard network configuration. You can try to delete the others, but this might break something unless you know what you're doing.

I don't have duplicate ip's or any special settings and still have these errors. i have 1000mb up and download speed. It is not possible to join any servers or even see or find some of them in the list.
The game is unfortunately unplayable if this is not fixed soon.

Je recommanderais de vérifier les fichiers du jeu, ils viennent de publier un énorme patch il n'y a pas si longtemps pour résoudre ce genre de problèmes

they pached the issue so your issue is relativily new best i can reccomend is verify your game files and try again if it still persist reinstall your game
