Keep in mind this is not a game where u have 100s of players all playing on the same server, its Co-op on a private / local servers.
Well. If a person edits this file it is their choice. I see no problem here. They paid for a game that they don't want to play. Whatever.
Cheat engine allowed the exact same thing anyway.
Why do you think they patched the ability to hit unstuck and get immediately back to your dropship? It was way too easy to exploit that. So, they fixed it. I'm fine with that. I want the devs fixing exploits like these. You don't?! Did you not approve of that patch then?
There was someone who wanted to cheat the game anyway, hope they see this post.
I would vote against it.
I don't believe a lot of players would do it anyway.
If some players want to modify game files to water down their game experience...
go ahead... >:D "Muuuhahahaha"
And you SHOULD be able to manipulate local saves either through file edits or admin commands. You are basically your own “admin” if something went wrong
We don’t have admin commands so being able to edit files is a fine alternative
It doesn’t impact anyone other than the person making the edit and anyone they happen to play with
