but there is one thing. i know its beta but why stop at lvl 30 it should be able to just lvl and lvl up what so if we cant spent the points for lvling up. but now i am stuck in lvl 30 with points idiotical spread around the chart.. should be a reset way
I would be good if there was no limit or if you kill X then you can unlock X amount of levels.
*Don't want to level multiple chars personally.*
This is a survival game that is meant to be challenging, though the stats on some things make it easier than it should be. If we were to get talent points for every level, this game would be far too easy.
While I agree it should not be easy if you have 240 talents to choose from 40 is too low.
And then on the other hand if you play solo since the blueprint points stop at that point as well you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. They should add points till at least level 50 in my opinion or even 60
My only gripe now after sitting down and scanning over the talent tree for a good 30 min. atleast 50% of the talent tree is point traps that give little to no benifit besides just eating your talent points, or having 2-4 other skills in the way of a skill you do want.

I used tally marks to represent skills I'm building towards, and the build should work. though I do wish I could have like 20-30 more points to sprinkle around elsewhere or somethin.
Although sadly theres no public option to get together with others besides just freinds. And you can't change a build once it's made since you cant reset. So the game pushes this weird mentality in my opinion.
Gathering related and tool related skills are top notch, makes getting basses and tools made quickly, either solo or for a group.
then tools to help with your gathering to be even more efficent.
Then a little blades, or spears, or bows. whichever you prefer to help a little in combat.
I could understand deviating from this line of thinking, but since i have limited points and, i love to gather mainly. it rail focuses me into my job role. Would be cool if I could help elsewhere. but just not enough points.
Least then you could always feel like you're getting better somehow from doing tasks you already would be doing.
You could also still have talent points if you wanted to say push your proficient level higher ahead of time aswell.
I started to play solo, but now i found a group and my skill point on solo now is wasted.
