Lycanthrope 1 or 2 hit K.O. ?

I got the mission for werewolf hunting, and right now I am using Witch level 35. During any encounter, one touch by the Lycanthrope resulted in me dying instantly, compared to the guardian holding silver charm, the damage difference was absurdly high. Is this intended?

Werewolf has really high agi so he's probably getting multiple hits on you. Pretty sure he also has more strength than Vasith. I recommend getting a ring of life from sea of tumult, it has resist instant death which prevents you from dieing if you are above 25% health.
