How to get all 4 pets?

I've only been able to get the Hopeye and Virki

Get the perks to improve your animal bonding, relax at Geoponics, then beat the mini games for Virki and Hopeye. That gives you higher level versions of that pet. The 4 pet achievement is tied to having four unique gear cards.

PS - stacking the Virki pet gear can lead to extremely easy stat growth.

I managed to get the 4 pets achievement on my second run. I only had the same two pets mentioned above but upgraded and equipped Vriki's cards by relaxing at Hydroponics multiple times. The final animal perk (pet upgrades 2) was necessary. Haven't found any other pets that follow you...

Beat me to it... Stacking the pet gear meant I didn't need to buy a single card from the depot.

Spotted a third pet (unisaur?) in a youtube video with the creator. So maybe there are four distinct pets you can befriend?

There's a Unisaur from a gold explore event in the swamps (you have to apply as a hunter). If you do a bunch of robotics training (in the school area), you can eventually also get a robot pet!

you can get the unisaur by going to the swamp expedition and you can get the robot pet by doing robotics job tons of times (it is the last reward)

Yep, unisaur is obtained from a boss event in the swamp, you just have to choose to approach, then capture it (40 animals check). Once it's at the colony you need to work the tend the animals job and choose to ride the unisaur (60 animals check).

Then you have to decide whether you feel she's more of a "Twilight Sparkle" or "Face Ripper".

Felt like I had cheated by getting the achievement without all 4 Pets so went back and collected them. That Unisaur is dangerous!

The vriki pet is obtained Glow year 12, if i recall correctly. You need enough perception and bravery to sneak out successfully, and then you can find and attempt to tame the vriki.

Is there a faster way to get the pet from engineering?
Because as often as one has to go to the robotics lab that stat is long maxed before the card can be obtained.

You can also tame a vriki in the Valley, if you have a high enough Animal stat and you missed the one in Glow age 12.
