What's your favorite romance option?

I like the Erik/Maja poly relationship. I tend to pursue them no matter which route I pick.

Mind you, I only played part 1 so far but Erik currently by far is my favourite for a potential love interest. Especially when I was in the Knight route.

Second place is Lucien and then Raiden and then the rest are all in the category of "interesting and I like" I guess I'll know which is my real fave romance option later on.

I'm sort of interesred in Erik too, but at the same time I feel like if I did a playthrough in which I didn't romance Raiden, it would make me feel guilty.

So far it's been Raiden, but it also changes a lot depending on the route i take. Livia became a strong contender on the Knight route. Nomad has been my fave route so far and Raiden has some great character development in that route from what I've seen thus far. (honorable mention for Erik bc he's just a sweetheart on all the routes)

Okay after playing part 2 I think I have a fave but...it depends on which route I'm taking.

Ambassador route: Erik and Lucien. I enjoy the interactions with My MC and these 2 the most in the ambassador route. I also love Ambassador MC and Raiden but I need more interactions. Roux and Maja are also closely follows. I enjoyed them a lot here.

Knight route: Erik and Livia so far are the ones I like in the knight route. I guess Roux close second. Rest is like but need more.

Nomad route: Raiden. It was hard not to have him as my fave in this route when he has the most and strongest interactions with the Nomad MC out of everyone (hell even in general out of the 3 routes). Livia second and Maja/Erik 3rd.

Erik is my no. 1 all the time, for every path, followed by Raiden and Lucien.

For the others, tis prolly Livia, Maja and Roux.
I'm not all that into these other three, but their paths are at least cute.
I'm more into the more masculine characters. Even if Lucien is more a them.

Despite liking the inital few chapters, I hated the ending of the Erik/Maja/Poly route. It felt weak, and unsatisfying. I will have to try the others and see if they are that bad.

I agree with you. Just finished with Erik's route as a knight; I was waiting for more romance stuff then it just ended there. It seems like the romance wasn't given the same importance as that of the plot and it ended up sidelined to the story. It's really unlike WTNC where there was even explicit longer adult content in the bed scenes. Romance here for me was very unsatisfying.

yes, in the Eric/Poly/Maja route Eric and Maja get married and the knight is left like some... Pet or something, not an equal member. I did not see that coming, since I romanced Eric first and Maja was included only in the final weird fade to black sex scene. Then suddenly, the Main Character is kicked to the curb so they can get married. Why don't they all 3 get married? And in the final chapter the knight seems to act very out of character. It just felt like they wanted to end it really quick, and be damned the consequences.

Also no real point to the ball scene and collecting Eric's hair. I didn't think my character would do that at all, but since none of the actions had any consequences, I don't see why it was a choice.

Damn, I never finished the Erik/Maja poly route because I kind of lost interest in the game due to every consequent chapter release feeling less and less polished and more and more rushed but... now I'm glad I didn't finish it, lmao. That's an absolutely abysmal way of finishing up a romance.
