Lost Levels .wad?
Can those levels be extracted and loaded with gzdoom Brutal 64 v2.5?

Doom 64 has been available on gzdoom since about 2005, silly. But it seems Bethesda are too lazy to make their new levels compatible with the long-established standard. It's really inexcusable. Even the 3 BFG edition had the courtesy to use .wad for NERVE

No, a recreation of Doom 64 in Absolution which was essentially recreated from the ground up and is INCREDIBLY inaccurate to the original is available on gzdoom.

This is essentially an official port of Doom64EX which previously required a n64 rom to run.

This is not "doom in name only".

This is the most accurate version of Doom 64 other than just playing on a damn N64.
And as a note: This wasn't made by Bethesda.

It was published by Bethesda.
Doom 64 Absolution was for Doomsday Engine, not for gzdoom. There are other Doom 64 mods for gzdoom but not that one. You are right about it being inaccurate from the N64 version.
Eh, either way. Inaccurate version is inaccurate.

It already has been reverse engineered, the hard part is getting the devs to bother porting it over.

Also, Doom 64 is still Doom btw.

DOOM 64 predates Bethesda's acquisition. It was published by Midway in fact.

Don't mind OP. They don't seem to realize that the Bethesda supposed "in name only" versions of doom flat out still come with the original dos wads to be used with source ports.

They just want to whine.
