Im confused, i went from level 24 straight to level 28 and finished the game

What happened to levels 25, 26, and 27? And the description says 30 levels, I'm assuming that must mean level 29 and 30 are secret maps like in doom 1 + 2?

Never played doom 64 before this.

And what was with those "You do not have the ability to use this" buttons on the last map?

29, 30, 31 and 32 are secret levels. 25, 26, 27 and 40 are 'Fun' levels that can be accessed with passwords in the options menu.

They require demon keys found in secret levels.
