this game wasnt made in the 90s. it's a source port of a game that was made in the 90s. as such it requires higher system requirements as it's designed for modern systems. this port will not run on a computer from the late 90s.

Yes it listed 8 GB of RAM, which would only be sort of reasonable if it was also going to load the entire game to memory.

It's so funny the machine, N64, this game was being made for, only featured a 100MHz (!!) CPU and 4 MB (!!!!!!) of RAM. Sure, one has to admit they added way higher resolutions and stuff, but it's interesting, how much more demanding even old games can be...

I just checked, the D64 folder is of 93 MB...

it really has nothing to do with the port, its more to do with the fact that in Microsoft's eyes, Windows 7 is End of Life and you could get by with 4gb of ram on win7, and now that Win 10 is the new newness (in spyware) and it "needs" 8gb minimum....that or they just decided EHHH WHY NOT JUST PASTE DOOM ETERNAL'S SPECS THERE K?"
