Game will not login/sync to Bethesda.net
Please help?

I played through about 20 hours of DOOM64, but had cancelled out of the initial Bethesda.net prompt.
At the time, I did not have an account -- now I do, and want to sync and get the 'Slayer Club' rewards. ...but now every time I enter my information into the DOOM64 main menu prompt for Bethesda.net -- it says there's a connection issue and to try later.

What gives? How do I fix it? This is BS behavior from a front-end with one job.
This is a fresh installation of the game, as well -- and dually verified.

I seem to recall from launch day that this is a known issue and that there's no fix currently. Has something to do with signing into bethesdanet in doom eternal before you did in doom 64.

Thanks.

Is there any way I can receive my rewards, then?

I did pre-order on Steam, so proof is in the pudding.

Not sure. I actually refunded my copy of eternal before trying to do the sync thing with doom 64.

I just remember seeing a post about the issue around launch.

I have this problem as well. I bought the game for $5 because I didn't buy eternal. I always hit the back button to continue. Hope they fix that popup or get rid of it. One or the other.

same issue here, I don't have Doom Eternal, bought Doom 64 alone, but it just gives me an error whenever it tries to connect to Bethesda.net.

I vaguely remember you have to login to bethesda.net in a web browser and agree to the various TOS. Then Doom64 should connect successfully.

This is the answer.

1. Run the game first, exit out of it. Login to Bethesda.Net using your web browser first and accept all terms of service. Then download and install the Bethesda App.

2. Log into the Bethesda app. Run the game on Steam (you only need to do this one time...after that you won’t get bugged with any pop ups).
