The final boss in this game is really hard
I just finished the game and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the final boss was hard. I killed her without the unmaker fully powered up and geez that was a pain. What were some good strats for defeating her?

I have t6he first Doom disk and i'm seeing nothing has changed within the specs so i'll -be downloading it again real soon as it;s a great game and the last fight well it's hard but with a bt of dodging it can be beaten lol

I think there should be an achievement for beating her without using any demon keys :D

Imagine wasting most of your ammo on the hordes that come before it, and having to fight the mother with 10 health. That was my first playthrough. Lets just say the entire boss fight was save and load often.

Ok, that was really helpful. I had been stuck on the final boss for about 15 tries, and I had no idea it was as easy as bum rushing that thing and tearing it apart with the BFG. I'll give this a try. Thanks for the vid!

From my experience so far, if you don't acquired any demon key so far (like I did in my 1st playthrough), try not to use Energy using weapon and use bullets and rockets against enemy waves. After that and that Demon Mother come out, spam it with BFG and it would be much simpler battle...

the thing is that to kill her easily you need to look for secrets and upgrade the unmakyr which is stupid as ♥♥♥♥ imo. its not fair if you re a player who havent found all of em. i just activated the god mode and killed her. i have no shame in saying it

Took me like 5-6 attempts to beat the boss with one demon key on Watch Me Die difficulty. It's not easy but it's definitely doable.

Killing her with the BFG is faster and easier.
