but why, bruh?
What is perpous?
well, i sympathise with your point of view and i also am a big fan of all around free mouse look. the limitation of not being able to just look "up"or "down" can be frustrating =)
i say this to you and to "the ashman cometh": the only thing i could think of why they didn't include vertical mouse look is that it would introduce a new game mechanic which doom 64 wasn't build for.
it's similar to why you can not jump in 64. the difference between "remove m+k support and play it with the n64 controller" or "resolution only in 480i" is exactly that.
one being a game mechanic which they don't have to include because it could potentially break the game and the other being features for pc that make it playable and closer to the hardware it's played on.
just trying to make sense out of it. not trying "to be right" and my word are finally or something.
Fact is: Doom 64 didn't have vertical aim and the game design accomodates for that. Nobody would get hurt should Bethesda add an option, but demanding it is out of place.
Its official you guys are the new flat earthers. ;)
