Best Cannon
What is considered to be the best cannon? I assume it's the AP Cannon, but I kind of don't like that range, kind of really liking the Bronze Longboi now that I don't really care much for boarding enemy ships (4 British 3-Deckers, need I say more?)

Would it be worth lowering the range for the better cannons? I was using the Bronze Carronade and that damage is actually terrifying, but at the same time... the range...

For me it is the AP-cannon because battles aren't a matter of attrition anymore.

But the neat thing is, that every gun enables a different gameplay style, so I doubt that there is an objectively "best" weapon.

That's good, I wanted to love the carronades but that lack of range... Watching an enemy 3-decker evaporate was funny though, kind of glad that it looks like all the Bronze guns are viable though

I have had great luck with the Exotic Bronze Medium Cannons

Yeah, they were pretty solid as well, honestly it feels like ALL the Bronze cannons are pretty solid.

Evaporating heavier ships at close range is kind of the entire point of carronades.

i like to use large cannons. i have damage upgrades that make it as powerful as the AP cannon. i like to kill as much crew as possible then board the ship. the AP cannon dose not let you use Anti Personnel ammo. i don't like that so i do not use it. i am thinking of trying out long range cannons with damage upgrades.
