I like both games but find that for whatever reason, TOTH goes as slow as molasses in January(Northern Hemisphere) when there are multiple vehicles on the board.
Both games have AI that usually shoots at the first thing that moves, so its easy to bait bad shots from the AI. Toth will let you play both sides of a scenario, while SF is only playable from one side. TOTH is more challenging when playing as the attacker. The AI isn't very tricky when attacking. SF, being playable from one side only, usually has the player as the attacker, or has meeting engagement type scenarios. Both have scenario editors and quite a few fan created scenarios.
Both SF and TOTH are labors of love by their creators and both creators are to be applauded for the work that they have done.
That's my two cents.
I bought SF yesterday anyway, so I guess I am gonna figure It out sometime soon. AI Is pretty much a concern (of mine) on any game, but specifically In digital wargames.
I already own TOTH since day one, so I kind of know how that plays and were the AI at times Is weak. It´s time to see how SF plays out.
Again, thanks!
