The Powder Toy

Workshop....
Why are we stuck to ONLY use the "Built-in" workshop (which are just Save states)? modding TPT is annoying but rather simple, so why not use steam workshop for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mods (actual Modification/Addons)?

since tpt already has a a template Workshop, i would use steam for more controlled modding
Adding a few categories (Solids, Logic, Walls, Scripts, ect) to the Steam workshop and allowing us to install mods would remove the risk of having to download it off TPT forums, Git Repos or smth else. This way the built-in Save-state "Workshop" is left alone, at most add a "Templates" category for Save-state sharing.

I feel like the online browser is better for visibility than steam workshop would give. For sharing saves / scripts, I suppose you could use these discussion boards. An integrated workshop isn't something we need though, since both saves and scripts are already integrated into the game.

The one benefit I see for scripts is that you gain the ability to discuss them. Right now the script manager just shows you the list "here's every script, in the order they were added". You'd lose the mod review process though, Lua scripts do have full control over your system so can do anything, and that is a little dangerous in theory (nobody has ever tried submitting anything harmful, though).

Do you plan on adding more elements and such?
