I'm retrying this...
I have returned to this game after a year plus hiatus. I remember getting to a point where I couldn't progress with Claire. I remember this being confusing because character story lines are both separate and at times need to cross one another. Following walkthroughs for help and I began getting lost as to what actions I had done with who.

So now I am re-attempting this. What is a better path...

1. Try to go through one characters story at a time?

or

2. Try to work multiple characters together?

I've already hit a roadblock with Veronica. I have completed the arrest quest and discovered she works at a club. Now I am trying to overhear the conversation with her and Amy to try to find the clubs location, but from 15:00 to 17:00 I can't get them talking by the front desk!

Kind of frustrating. Sequences and actions get unlocked or become available with precise required actions. Without a full walkthrough, it is highly unlikely that people will get everything on their own.

The trouble with the walkthroughs are that a lot of them are outdated and obsolete due in part not only to the change in the way the hint system was redone, but also to some changes made to the game itself before it was released on Steam. So the walkthroughs will not reflect those changes. The walkthrough is mostly okay to use for the dates with the girls as there haven't been any changes to those.

Some side characters (for instance, Amy, Sophia, Debby and Diane) are tied into the main girls' storylines. Example: Office Debby (partially) and Amy are tied to Veronica, Diane is tied to Claire and Sophia (mostly) is tied to Ashley. If you hover over their portraits early on into the game or their story, their hints might say you need to improve your relationship with X, Y and or Z. So you would need to follow what those girls' hints are saying to do next before the side girls will start showing hints of their own.

As far as the club where Veronica works, I would need to know what her hint (not the walkthrough) is saying to know what you would need to do next.

Ok, I still have to make her do the laundry. I think I remember now that my "whip" points need to be at 20 or 25... something like that. Using my brain and now it hurts! LOL

Have you already unlocked club Neon on your map? You'll need to have done that before you can order her to remove her panties (which will be Veronica's hint coming up soon).

If you'd like, I'd be happy to take a look at your save and see where you're at if need be. Just click on the "Need help?" button from the game's main menu screen to join our Discord, then go into the Man of the House >> gameplay-help channel and ping me using "@Sycho" (no quotes) to let me know you're there.

No, that's what I was trying to do... eavesdrop about the club. Then I gave her the maid outfit and lost my submission points. That is how I unlocked the eavesdrop. It's tedious trying to do everything right in the right order with the right character but I'll eventually work it out.:steamhappy:

Thank you @sycho_3wd1337. I'm not sure if you're a DEV so,

1. If you are, then Kudos on all of the hard work and support!

2. If not, then DEVs definitely need to pay attention and take some notes on your
presence here and try to follow the same support model with their products.

Either way, I always see you in the forum and you are always helpful above and beyond!

It is much appreciated and is not unnoticed!!:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

You're welcome and thank you so much for the kinds words, cygnusx1. They're very much appreciated. :)

Sadly, no, I'm not a dev, but I am one of a few guys on Faerin's team who is involved in testing, proofreading, game/technical support. I'm also one of his moderators on Discord, so I wear a few hats, sometimes all at once, lol. Faerin's an amazing developer to work for and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's been my absolute pleasure working with him and helping you all, the players and supporters, for the past several years (nearly 6 years now).

Oh, I know!
It's because of Sycho, Larry and the rest of the guys on Discord that help me out, that I can focus all my attention on developing games!

@Faerin Games, I hope you didn't think my comments on DEV's taking notice was referring to you. I don't think you did, but in looking at my reply it could be construed as being directed to the DEV's here. But I meant the countless DEV's that are out there who plop a game down do a grab and run, then leave the game withering and abandoned.

It's just my nature to be sure that I was not misunderstood. MOTH is very designed very well and the graphics are awesome. I even purchased Mystwood Manor just yesterday and I'm looking forward to it. Kudos and keep up the good work.

Cheers Mate!:steamhappy::steamthumbsup:
