Great news! There was a Polish language version on the discs with dubbing some time ago, is there a chance it will be available on Steam?

We're looking into it. CD Projekt produced the Polish localization.
I found a brand new bug: If you play in high resolution, attempting to select a save file to load causes the game to crash.

This has already been reported. We have prepared a fix that will be included in the upcoming patch, which will be released soon. Thanks for the report regardless.

I wish, for myself and for all of us, that Soldiers would return with developer support from your side, along with modern tools like the Steam Workshop and other Steam conveniences. The game still feels like a fantastic competitive strategy title. If there's any way to transfer the modding achievements to the Steam Workshop, I foresee great popularity for this title.

Unfortunately, for a long time, playing Soldiers was difficult due to the lack of adaptation to newer setups. And, of course, the downfall of GameSpy Arcade. It's a shame to even bring it up.

It's great that the game has gained a new publisher who, while obviously aiming to make a profit, isn't holding back and is actually providing updates that spark hope the game can remain fully playable even after all these years.

I also appreciate the effort to bring back the original translations. I sincerely hope it will be possible to implement the original Polish language, including the Polish voiceovers.

Hopefully, something will grow from this. The Polish community thanks you!

I've tried to contact CD Projekt through e-mail in this case, so far no respond. Any idea if they have some discord server etc. to reach them faster?
The original MOD file cannot be used anymore, and I don't know how to activate my modified mod. I hope it can be corrected.
Vielen Lieben Dank für das Update von diesem Legendären Spiel.
I have a question about the zoom in/out. With the new update you can zoom out more than before the update. Is there a way to change it back like it was?

I really like that you updated this masterpiece thanks for your work.

Move your profiles and mods folders from this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Soldiers Heroes of World War 2\
To this folder:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Soldiers Heroes of World War 2\
We've mentioned the directory change in the changelog. Here:
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/11480/view/761771660008227128?l=english

We had to do it in order to make it compatible with Windows 10 & 11.

We appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear you are enjoying the update. We at Best Way, the original developers of Soldiers, are providing these updates free of charge, developed entirely on our own initiative as a token of appreciation for our community.

We are also exploring the possibility of adding the original Polish localization. We have contacted CD Projekt and are waiting for their response to discuss this further.

Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of the Soldiers community!

We're happy to hear that!

We did not modify the camera values. However, it's possible to adjust the camera's minimum and maximum height using mods.
