I needed an answer because these options are not explanined in the manual.
I have played the tutorial ... all of it ... but it doesn't explain anything about them.
These features have been implemented to enhance the gameplay experience for entry-level players. They prove especially beneficial in single-player or cooperative modes on easier difficulty settings, helping players maintain their focus on targets while using direct control.
Auto aim assists by keeping your aim locked on enemy infantry and vehicles. If you want this feature for infantry only, you can disable the "Auto aim vehicles" option.
Keep in mind that on higher difficulties, body armor and armor penetration calculations become more crucial. For instance, shooting at a soldier's chest while wearing armor is less effective than targeting the face. The same applies to vehicles and their respective weak points.
