Mod help

I downloaded the FX mod but it is not showing up in game. I tried doing a search for a possible solution but none of them were clear. I directed the mod executable to the main "Soldier" folder (programfiles/steam/steamapps/common/soldier herosofWW2) that has the game executable file in it. I now have a new mod folder there but there are no mods listed in game. What am I doing wrong.

Make folder in showw2 called Mods .. add or put the mod there ... C:\Program Files (x86) steam common / Soldiers Heroes of World war 2 / Mods

Great thanks....that worked. Can you suggest some good mods I should download. I'm mainly interested in mods that improve the graphics and looks of the game.
